Logo Design and Social Media Strategy: Give Kids a Smile

Project Overview:

I was given the opportunity to join a design contest for a family healthcare event by Mecklenburg County; the goal that needed to be emphasized within the design concept for the event was the target audience: children and parents needing dental and other medical care. Also, the required design provides a way for Mecklenburg's more vulnerable populations, POC, people who do not speak English as a native language, and people within areas with medical deserts to access healthcare providers.

Therefore within the design concept I created I wanted to make something that was welcoming and calming for both children and adults alike without coming off as overwhelming and confusing.

Social Media Strategy

Objective:

  1. Increase Awareness: Reach local families, schools, and healthcare organizations.

  2. Create Ads: Create social media ads containing the details of the event.

  3. Use Branding: Use consistent colorways and type.
